The faculty at ISB come with a strong pedigree of Ph.Ds. from a strong research-oriented programmes across the world. Apart from taking classes and mentoring students, they also conduct independent research. The insights from the research are merged with the textual learnings to give students a realistic and real-time perspective on businesses.In fact, ISB was the first B-School in India to introduce this system of encouraging and rewarding high-quality research.
ISB faculty’s research has been published in over 70 top-tier journals in different management areas. The faculty has also received numerous coveted research grants awarded by premier academic institutions, research centers, corporate houses and reputed foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, WWF, McCombs School of Business, UT-Austin and others. These awards attest to the scope, depth and impact of the research conducted at the ISB.
