Being a parent has been a journey of understanding my self better. It has been the most exhilarating and exasperating 
experience – all at the same time. I have learnt that there are no boundaries – for the depth of love I can feel and the patience that is needed to be a parent.
Bringing up two kids in a dual career household in a city where we have no family support, I have learnt that ‘Mother’ is a verb! It is a role Guru, and I play in tandem and at times, along with the Village that helps us bring the kids up.
As the journey of learning while teaching continues (Ufff, my elder one is in that phase of asking questions), I wish each one of you a very Happy Children’s Day. Take a pause, to let the child in you out in this busy and maddening world.
