I looked at both the tests carefully, understood what was covered in each and chose to go with the test that overlapped more with my strengths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alums and school, both are very clear that no one test is preferred over the other and that\u2019s how things are. If you like me are comfortable with the GRE format and it overlaps with your strengths, go ahead and do that. You will not be at any disadvantage because of the choice of test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me the choice was simple. GRE focused more on vocabulary and I felt that was my strength.
