ISB fostering entrepreneurship through various academic and support initiatives.The school enables a conducive ecosystem, so that entrepreneurs can build and work on their business ideas during their term at ISB.<\/p>\n

Course Electives <\/strong><\/p>\n

Student clubs <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Entrepreneurship & VC Club (<\/strong>EVC) organises speaker sessions, alumni interactions, workshops and seminars to provide industry and functional exposure to students. The club aims to create a learning environment and enhance the skill sets of the future entrepreneurs in the area of their interest.<\/p>\n

ISB investment network<\/strong><\/p>\n

ISB bridges the needs of early-stage startups and investors through ISB Investment network. ISB Investment Network is an organised effort to bring together budding entrepreneurs and existing and potential angel investors from the ISB community including alumni, faculty, staff and board members, who are keen on promoting entrepreneurship and being part of the growing start-up scene in India. Currently, the network has 50 active participants at the seed stage funding level and 20 active participants at the growth stage funding level. ISB will serve as a knowledge partner and actively support the network through its students and faculty.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE)<\/strong><\/p>\n

CIE projects offer comprehensive guidance to potential entrepreneurs among the students \u2013 from idea evaluation to enterprise creation.<\/p>\n

PaEV<\/strong><\/p>\n

PaEV is a single-credit practicum course of 16 weeks duration from Term 3 to Term 5, which will be considered as a Term 7 elective. You will learn to prepare business plans in ten classroom sessions and a few guided sessions. Team size is limited to three or four members. This course provides an exciting introduction to entrepreneurship and new-venture creation. It equips you with conceptual frameworks for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities, evaluating techno-commercial attractiveness for investment, and launching a new venture. The course modules are designed such that you are able to understand and apply the techniques and processes that can be used to identify entrepreneurial opportunities and prepare a realistic business plan based on your ideas. The class size for PaEV is restricted  and the selection is based on your presentation of entrepreneurial ideas.<\/p>\n
