Transform your uncertainty into confidence, with ISB\u2019s Young Leaders Programme (YLP), and get a 2-year head start in your quest to a world-class management programme.\u00a0YLP is a challenging foundation programme designed for pre-final or final year students pursuing their\u00a0undergraduate or post graduate degrees. Getting in YLP guarantees you a much sought after admission\u00a0into the flagship, Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at the Indian School of Business.<\/p>\n

Admission to the YLP is a three stage process:<\/p>\n

STAGE 1 \u2013 APPLICATION<\/strong>
\nThis stage includes your application form, one essay and an application fee.
\n1. Application Form:<\/strong> Login to the online application portal here <\/a>and begin filling it in segments.
\n\uf0b7 \u00a0Applicant Information \u2013 Fill this section with your personal and contact details. Be very careful\u00a0with the spellings and make sure the name you enter is the same as on your passport because\u00a0your PGP certificate will be issued on that name.
\n\uf0b7 Educational Details \u2013 Use this to show your academic potential. Details about your class X, XII\u00a0and either one, or all of your undergraduate, post graduate or integrated programme must be\u00a0filled here.
\n\uf0b7 Awards and Activities \u2013 This is mainly to evaluate your personality based on your interest and \u00a0performance in extra-curricular activities.\u00a0The admission process at ISB is holistic and measured; hence these details play a significant role.<\/p>\n

2. Essay:<\/strong> You are expected to submit one essay in the first stage. Essays play a crucial role in the\u00a0application process at ISB. It is through your essays that the Admissions Team understands your\u00a0story, thought process and ambitions.
\nYou have a choice to write on either:
\n\uf0b7 Option 1: Write about an incident or set of incidents in your life that had the most profound\u00a0influence on you. While writing this essay, briefly mention the incident and the impact it has had\u00a0on your life. (300 words max)
\nOR
\n\uf0b7 Option 2: How would you describe yourself as a person and what are the two qualities \/ skills \/\u00a0attributes that you wish to further develop in yourself through the ISB Young Leaders\u00a0Programme? (300 words max)<\/p>\n

3. Application Fee: \u00a0<\/strong>A payment of INR 2000\/- towards application and processing is to be made.\u00a0This can be done either through a VISA or Master Credit \/ Debit card or through the Net Banking\u00a0option.
\nThe application deadline for stage 1 of YLP, this year, is March 25th, 2016.<\/p>\n

STAGE 2 \u2013 SHORTLISTING<\/strong>
\nOnce you have made it through the Stage 1, your profile would be assessed on learning potential based\u00a0on your GMAT \/ GRE score (along with your academic record), leadership skills and personal attributes\u00a0based on the essays and recommendation.<\/p>\n

1. GMAT \/ GRE Score:<\/strong> Candidates who have cleared Stage 1 are to present their official GMAT \/\u00a0GRE score; you can take the GMAT \/ GRE even on the day of the deadline (August 31) and\u00a0submit your test center score with your application. However, you must ensure that your official
\nscore report reaches the School within three weeks of the application deadline.<\/p>\n

2. Essays:<\/strong> You are also required to submit two more essays at this stage. The topics for the essays\u00a0will be given to you once shortlisted.<\/p>\n

3. Recommendation<\/strong>: In addition to this, you must provide one recommendation, preferably from a\u00a0college faculty\/ mentor during your internship.
\nThe deadline for Stage 2 is August 31st, 2016.<\/p>\n

STAGE 3 \u2013 Face to face<\/strong>\u00a0interview<\/strong>
\nThe final stage of the YLP admission process is a face to face interview at one of the ISB campuses. You\u00a0will be called for an interview during September 15 \u2013 October 15, 2016. The interview panel gauges\u00a0your overall profile, confidence, communication and leadership skills.<\/p>\n
